New images from a Chinese forum, unearthed by Sammy Hub, might be showing Samsung's upcoming flagship Android
smartphone, the Galaxy S IV.
The device in the photos is marked GT-I9502, and looks very similar to Samsung
Galaxy S III. Screenshots from the Antutu hardware test application show that
it's rocking a quad-core 1.8GHz processor, a 1080p display, 13-megapixel camera
and 2GB of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy S IV is due to be unveiled March
14 in New York. Previous rumors about the device's hardware sound similar to
the specifications listed above, with one notable exception — we've heard that
the Galaxy S IV will be powered by an
8-core processor.
In the meantime, Samsung has posted yet another teaser for the upcoming
device. It doesn't reveal much, but the little kid in the video says the device
(not actually shown in the video) is his "favorite color," which
probably means the Galaxy S IV will be available in more than one color.
