A series of in focus, well-lit snaps supposedly showing the Chinese version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 have appeared online, possibly spoiling the show later tonight.
Picked up by Chinese site IT168 the pictures show a handset which looks incredibly similar to the Galaxy S3 andGalaxy Note 2, although there seems to be a slightly thinner bezel down each side of the screen and the single LED flash on the rear now sits below the lens.
According to the details which accompanied the images the Galaxy SIV will in fact pack a ridiculous 1.8GHz octo-core processor along with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory and a full HD 4.99-inch display.

Super slim

If the leaks are accurate the Galaxy S4 is also set to be the firm's thinnest flagship device at 7.7mm in depth, while width-wise it gains just 1mm on the Galaxy S3.

The only real gain is in height, where the S4 is touted to be 140.1mm - up from 136.6mm on its predecessor, plus it could be slightly more weighty at 138g.
Yesterday we heard that the much talked about eye scrolling technologymay not make it to the Galaxy S4 after all, but according to the screens shown in the images the retina controlling feature could still be included.
Luckily all our questions will be answered before the day is out when Samsung takes to the stage in New York to officially unveil the Galaxy S4. We'll be there so stay tuned for all the official details as they emerge.
