Sony Xperia E will be Launched in UK in February, 2013

London: According to UK Mobile Retailer Carphone Warehouse, Sony will release its much awaited Xperia Esmartphone in to the markets in February 2013.  Though the exact date of its arrival is not revealed, the website of the company just said that the smartphone from Sony can be expected in February, 2013. Xperia E smartphone was unveiled on 5^th December, 2012.

Sony will introduce Xperia E Smartphone in two variants.  The device will be available as single and dual SIM variant.  According to Calum MacDougall,Marketing Director of Sony Mobile Communications, Sony Xperia E and Xperia E dual are for those who want to have Android smartphones at affordable prices.

Specifications of Sony Xperia E

Sony Xperia E is an Android smartphone and it comes with a display of 3.5 inch. The type of display is HGVA and the display resolutions are 320 x 480 pixels.  The device is provided with 512 MB of RAM.  Storage capacity of the device is 4GB and a microSD slot t is provided for expanding the memory up to 32 GB.  Coming to the multimedia feature, Sony Xperia E has a camera of 3.2 megapixel with 4X Zoom with FWVGA video recording.  The device also features walkman app, multi-touch point screen and X-lout technology.  Sony Xperia is powered with a 1530 mAh battery that gives standby time of 8 hours for video playing.  The device weighs 115.7 grams.  The device runs on Android 4.1 or Jelly Bean operating system.

Sony company is expected to launch Xperia in UK and US markets first and the release date of the phone in Asian markets including in India are not ye tannounced by the company. Sony’s Xperia E and Xperia E dual are the affordable smartphones but the price of the devices is not yet revealed.  It is also not known whether the Carphone Warehouse will have both Xperia E and Xperia E Plus in its shelves by February, 2013.
