Sony Xperia ZL - coming to Europe, Canada in April 2013

Sony announced that its Xperia ZL smartphone will start selling in Canada “beginning in April 2013.” The powerful smartphone will be available from a number of carriers, including Bell, Mobilicity, MTS, Rogers, Videotron and WIND Mobile, though we guess TELUS may also join the party at some point. Unfortunately, the press release doesn’t say anything about the price…
Meanwhile, we’ve also heard that Europe will get Sony’s baby at the same time. In Germany, users will be able to get the unlocked unit for whopping 599.99 EUR, which translates into some $800. Under this deal, you don’t have to put your signature on any kind of contract which may be a plus for some (who don’t mind spending that much money for a phone). Not sure that’s worth the money, but what do I know…
Again, the Xperia ZL was announced alongside the Xperia Z. It has the same 5-inch full HD touchscreen, 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 13-megapixel rear-camera, while Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is running the show…
