Lava Iris 430 ICS-based 1GHz smartphone launched at Rs. 7,500 - 2013


A new dual-SIM Android smartphone from Lava Mobiles has been launched in the Indian market - the Iris 430
.lava Mobile has added yet another smartphone to its Iris portfolio. The Iris 430 runs on Android 4.0 ICS and is priced at Rs. 7,500. The dual-SIM smartphone has a 4-inch display with a 480x800 pixel resolution.
A 1GHz dual-core processor along with 512MB of RAM powers the Iris 430. The rear of the smartphone houses a 5MP camera and the front has a VGA camera for video calling. It has 4GB built-in storage expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. It also houses a 1400mAh battery, which the company claims, will last for 4.9 hours of talk time. The smartphone also supports GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G, proximity sensor and more.
