Google Glass Specs Come to Light: 5MP Camera, 16GB Flash Memory, One Day Battery Life & More Updated: Tuesday, April 16, 2013, 18:18 [IST] Previously there was news that the futuristic wearable computing device - Google Glass would be made available by the end of the year.

The search giant has officially released the specifications the highly anticipated device. Google says the device comes with a high resolution display, equivalent of a 25 inch high definition screen from eight feet away, 5 MP camera capable of 720p video, bone conduction transducer - the device provides audio to the wearer via contact with the user's head, 12 GB of usable memory, synced with Google cloud storage, to bring it up to 16 GB, connectivity features including Wifi - 802.11b/g, Bluetooth.
 The device is said to last for one full day of typical use. However, Hangouts and video recording might drain more battery. The device said to come with Micro USB cable and charger. Also, the glass sports adjustable nosepads and durable frame, which is said to fit any face. Extra nosepads in two sizes, will be included with the product. Google says the device will be compatible with any Bluetooth-capable phone.
 The company also mentions that the MyGlass companion app for the device requires Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich) or higher, to work (MyGlass enables GPS and SMS messaging). Back in February, Google had released a video, demonstrating, what the device was capable of doing. To put it in words, the device which is said to be voice activated can take pictures, record videos, video share in real-time. It can give you directions on the go, using built in GPS and convert your speech into text. It can display images from the net and all you need to do is ask. Google Glass can translate what you speak into different languages. Just look at something and ask what it is and Google glass will give you an answer. This The device is a dream, made into reality and is expected to cost less then $1,500 (Rs 81517 approximately). Well, in a few months from now, this device can very well, be yours.
