Samsung Announces Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Mega 6.3
Korea: After spec and image leaks the Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3 are now official. Samsung today unveiled these tow new Android4.2 smartphones, which will come to Europe inMay, with no official word on availability in other markets.
The Galaxy Mega 5.8 sports a 5.8-inch (960×540) screen, and is powered by a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor, along with 1.5 GB of RAM. It comes with an 8 MP rear camera; and a 1.9 MP front-facing camera. There is 8 GB of on-board storage, which is expandable up to 64 GB. Other features include Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi a/b/g/n, WiFi Direct, USB2.0, and GPS+.
The Galaxy MEga 6.3 boasts a 6.3-inch 720p screen, and is powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor, along with 1.5 GB of RAM. This phone is loaded with an 8 MP rear camera; and a 1.9 MP front-facing camera. Connectivity-wise, there is Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi a/b/g/n, WiFi Direct, NFC, USB 2.0 (+MHL) and GPS+. It comes in 8 GB and 16 GB storage options, expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card.
