A couple of years back some phone makers started to offer 3D capabilities to a selection of their smartphones, but over time these have faded out, although that doesn’t mean consumers still don’t want the feature. It’s for this very reason why a group of researchers have come up with an accessory for the iPhone called the EyeFly 3D film.
What this small film does is give your iPhone 5 3D content thanks to the sort of screen protector offering, 500,000 miniaturized lenses. You will need an app in order for this film to give you 3D capable playback, which you can see for yourself in the video below.
We do have a few issues with the EyeFly 3D film, such as the Retina display being canceled out and the fact we personally feel most people will not want to play $34.95 for something considered a novelty.
