We’ve known that Samsung was working on a new Galaxy Tab and that it’ll be coming out at IFA in Berlin this fall. Well now Sammobile has apparently confirmed the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0. Basically there are new SM letter codes fro Samsung devices, and Sammobile’s source gave them information including the model number for a couple of Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 variants.

Teh Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 will be available in wifi only at first which is generally normal for Samsung devices. It’ll also only be available in white at first. That’s a bit different for Samsung as they generally have 2 colors available at launch. We are still expecting the Galaxy Tab 3 family to become official just before IFA in Berlin this September. We all know they’ll have another Unpacked event to announce the Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Camera 2 and probably the next Galaxy Tab family of tabelts. We are also expecting to see a 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab 3 as it looks like the 7-incher has been bumped up to 8.0 inches.
So the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0, not much information here, but we do know it’s coming to market soon, and probably to the rest of the world before the US. What other features or changes do you want to see in the Galaxy Tab 3? I’d definitely like to see a 1080p display that’s not AMOLED, along with a 128GB capacity model. If they really want to compete with the iPad, they’ll want to offer a 128GB model as well.
